<h2>Access Requirements</h2>
<p>Before you can pair a device, you must have an active konn3kt account. Access is granted through the <strong>konn3kt Discord</strong>. Once your account is provisioned, you can proceed with the following steps.</p>

<strong>Migration:</strong> If you are switching your device from Comma Connect to konn3kt, your <strong>Dongle ID is preserved</strong>. All your existing hardware identifiers remain the same.

<h2>Standard Pairing (QR Code)</h2>
<ol class="step-list">
<li>Sign in to <a href="https://konn3kt.teallvbs.xyz">konn3kt.teallvbs.xyz</a>.</li>
<li>Ensure your IQ.Pilot device is connected to the internet and displaying the pairing QR code.</li>
<li>Click <strong>+ Pair Device</strong> on your dashboard.</li>
<li>Scan the QR code using your phone or a web-connected camera.</li>
<li>The device will link instantly and appear in your device grid.</li>

<h2>Manual Registration & SSH Configuration</h2>
<p>If QR scanning is not an option, you can register your device manually. This is also where you establish secure SSH access.</p>
<ol class="step-list">
<li>Select the <strong>Register</strong> tab in the Pair Device modal.</li>
<li>Enter your device's <strong>Dongle ID</strong> and <strong>Serial Number</strong>.</li>
<li><strong>Public Key:</strong> Paste your device's SSH Public Key. This key is critical for:
<ul>
<li>Establishing encrypted data streams.</li>
<li>Authenticating the <strong>Web Terminal</strong> sessions.</li>
<li>Ensuring "Encryption at Rest" can be decrypted by your account.</li>
</ul>

<li>Click <strong>Submit</strong> to complete the registration.</li>
</ol>
