Pairing Your Device

Linking your IQ.Pilot hardware to the konn3kt ecosystem.

Access Requirements

Before you can pair a device, you must have an active konn3kt account. Access is granted through the konn3kt Discord. Once your account is provisioned, you can proceed with the following steps.

Migration: If you are switching your device from Comma Connect to konn3kt, your Dongle ID is preserved. All your existing hardware identifiers remain the same.

Standard Pairing (QR Code)

  1. Sign in to konn3kt.teallvbs.xyz.
  2. Ensure your IQ.Pilot device is connected to the internet and displaying the pairing QR code.
  3. Click + Pair Device on your dashboard.
  4. Scan the QR code using your phone or a web-connected camera.
  5. The device will link instantly and appear in your device grid.

Manual Registration & SSH Configuration

If QR scanning is not an option, you can register your device manually. This is also where you establish secure SSH access.

  1. Select the Register tab in the Pair Device modal.
  2. Enter your device's Dongle ID and Serial Number.
  3. Public Key: Paste your device's SSH Public Key. This key is critical for:
    • Establishing encrypted data streams.
    • Authenticating the Web Terminal sessions.
    • Ensuring "Encryption at Rest" can be decrypted by your account.
  4. Click Submit to complete the registration.
