b3a1bf3c2e Fix test_warning_captured_deprecated_in_pytest_6
The test was failing because *other* warnings were being triggered on the
master node. This makes the test more reliable by checking only that
the warning from the worker node is not emitted.

607d8288d4 Add psutil extra and introduce pytest_xdist_auto_num_workers hook
This makes using psutil optional and opens up the possibility of customization
through the pytest_xdist_auto_num_workers hook, making things like #477 possible.

94bdd18a03 Fix skipping test_config_initialization for pytest<5
Fix test_config_initialization to be correctly skipped on pytest<5,
by explicitly checking pytest version (idea copied from
test_looponfail_removed_test).  The current conditions are insufficient
-- the outer check wrongly assumes pytest>=5 will always be used
on Python 3 (which is not true if you need the same version to support
both Python 2 and Python 3), and the inner condition apparently
wrongly assuming that invocation_params attribute is not present
in pytest-4.

32a29138fc Fix issues related to running xdist with the terminal plugin disabled
This fixes an issue where the pytest plugin manager returns None if a plugin is not loaded instead of raising an error.
It also makes terminal optional in plugin code.

a70dace69c Pass and use original sys.argv to/with workers
This gets used e.g. by argparse for the "prog" part.

We could explicitly pass it through and/or set it on
config._parser.prog, but that is a bit tedious just for this use case,
and it looks like "simulating" the main prog here appears to not be that
bad of a hack after all.

fe06f27b8b Issue node shutdown on empty workload
Remote pytest_runtestloop requires at least 2 tests, or a test
and a shutdown command. In case of inter test locking, for
example using a file lock, the tests could deadlock, since the
shutdown command would not be enqueued, and the last test of a
worker would never finish, and would not allow another worker
to make progress.
